this week's TIA moments

-i wrote my first paper due monday… found out after the tutorial that it was not compulsory, and not collected : I was the only one who wrote it.

-Saw a guy stopped in the middle of the street, thrown out of his car by 10 cops and arrested- without any evident official interaction/ explanation by the cops.

-got hooked up by the rasta man at “Indigenous Dread”

- linked up with the creators and organizers of AFRIKABURN (africa’s version of burning man). sept 9-13…

- met a south aftican/ irish “greenstreet hooligans meets boondock saints” kid who claims to be in the I.R.A…. ” do you know what its like to cut up a dead body”… great pick up line.

- still failing to master the xhosa clicks…

- skipped half my classes…. its only the second week.

- got stopped and searched by the police at 3 in the afternoon in the middle of the sidewalk with my danish friend… its good to know they have their priorities straight.

we have monday off from school for national women’s day (can someone explain why the US doesnt have this?), so im off to rocklands for the weekend where they have some of the best bouldering in the world!

you two went and got tumblrs… and now i have to be on to make sure your still alive n such, so i might as well update every once in a while… just dont expect anything fancy.

like pictures and shit, they use hella megabits.

im still trying to find a legit spot where i can access free wifi.
